TRUST & SAFETY GUIDE

How RubyCollect Protects Trading Card Sales

Trading-card sales rely on clear details and an evidence trail. RubyCollect is designed to keep the listing, messages, payment, fulfillment or E-Pack trade evidence, and order review connected to the same transaction.

Clearer listings before checkout

Collectors can see card details, photos, condition information and seller-provided shipping choices before buying. The marketplace asks sellers to identify what they are selling instead of treating a card as an unverified generic item.

High-value and physical-card workflows can require additional evidence based on the listing and transaction rules.

Protected transaction records

Orders, buyer-seller messages, checkout status and fulfillment information are maintained with the transaction. For physical cards, shipping and delivery information form part of the order record. For E-Pack cards, the trade-evidence flow is part of the order.

This structure is designed to make a dispute review based on the actual transaction record instead of an off-platform conversation.

Collector responsibility still matters

Review listing photos and condition notes before buying. Use accurate details when selling, retain relevant shipping receipts, and keep transaction communication within RubyCollect.

Report a suspicious listing instead of completing a transaction outside the marketplace. A report triggers review; it does not by itself decide that a seller or item is fraudulent.

Frequently asked questions

Does RubyCollect authenticate every card?

No. Sellers remain responsible for their listings. RubyCollect uses marketplace safeguards, evidence and review processes, but collectors should still inspect photos, details and condition information.

What should I do if a listing looks suspicious?

Use the Report option on the listing and include relevant details. Keep the transaction and messages within RubyCollect so the review has the necessary record.
